We didn't want to make any drastic changes in the 32.2 patch, but we'll share what's been planned for 33.0: We've received a lot of constructive feedback regarding possible changes for the CT events. The program is starting with a selected group of Creators that we’re already working with for previews and feedback, but Nexus.gg will have a signup page for other Creators who are interested. Stay tuned to our socials for more information. Ninja Kiwi doesn’t think paid sponsorships are good for the gaming ecosystem, but we think that Nexus.gg and Creator codes can be. The Nexus.gg folks have been amazing to work with and we truly hope this will promote a mutually beneficial relationship between player, Creator, and game developer. We've partnered with Nexus.gg to help you support your favorite content creators! Add their creator code in the game settings, and they'll receive a portion of all your in-game purchases. Turn on this new option to get effortless pixel-perfect placement. New Monkey Placement Option – Snap to Valid Location Let us know how you feel about the classic & user-submitted maps-we think it'll be fun to do more of this in the future! We've also selected 3 user-created maps to add to the game, and one of them (it's a surprise!) is making its appearance in 33.0. These "new" additions are sure to delight long-time fans of the series. This opens up the middle path to be used for high damage against single targets and tightly-packed groups, whereas the bottom crosspath remains useful for pierce and camo detection.Ģ-1-0 Arcane Blast: Fireball damage increased 1→2ģ-1-0 Arcane Mastery: Fireball damage increased 1→3, Fireball attack cooldown reduced 2.2s→1.1sĤ-1-0 Arcane Spike: Fireball damage increased 1→5, bonus damage to ceramics 0→10, Fireball attack cooldown reduced 2.2s→0.75s, explosion radius increased by 25%ĥ-1-0 Archmage: all improvements to Arcane Spike carry over Top path Wizard Monkeys rarely see any use of the Fireball upgrade, so from now on, the top path upgrades will improve Fireball as well. We're hoping this will lead to greater flexibility and fun strategies. "Circle" behaves the way "Centered Path" did before, but "Figure Eight" & "Figure Infinite" can also be re-centered. This upgrade no longer adds a new flight path instead, every flight path gains a re-targeting option. Say goodbye to the "Centered Path" upgrade: a new upgrade called "Remote Path" has been instituted for Monkey Aces! Some of the Ace / Wizard non-Paragon mechanics have been revamped to make them more versatile and fun to use. For now, we'll share the Paragon names, and we welcome all hype and speculation! Rather than describe them now, we're going to wait for the upcoming release to show exactly what they do. New Paragons: It's our pleasure to announce the Monkey Ace and Wizard Monkey Paragons-we're pumping them full of creative juice and have decided to release them both in 33.0. Make sure to use each tower type frequently as you play, so you can earn enough experience to complete your insta-monkey collection! Insta-monkey fusion can be very rewarding, but it also requires a large amount of EXP, especially when a fusion involves potent upgrades. And if his technology proves to be effective, perhaps one day he'll have the confidence to attempt fusing Tier 5 towers into an insta-Paragon… If you have two 4-1-0 Dart Monkeys, you can fuse them together into a new form, which will randomly upgrade to either 4-2-0 or 5-1-0. Monkey's tech allows you to fuse your duplicate insta-monkeys. You might recognize him from Bloons Supermonkey 2, but now the monkey kingdom's head scientist is making his appearance in the premier tower defense game! Make use of his outstanding Monkey Fusion technology to acquire insta-monkeys more powerful than ever before!ĭr. In order to defeat this monstrosity, a well-rounded defense is an absolute necessity. The next time it reaches a skull, its immunity shifts to Military monkeys, and so on. Until this shield is destroyed, it gains immunity to damage from all Primary monkeys, and Ceramic / Lead / MOAB-class bloons will spawn with the Fortified property. When Dreadbloon's health reaches the first skull, it creates a ceramic shield. ![]() ![]() This boss is also encased in metal armor-don't make the mistake of fighting it with regular darts! New Boss – Dreadbloon, The Armored Behemothĭreadbloon makes itself (and all other bloons on the screen) immune to weakening effects, including upgrades like Shattering Shells and Embrittlement. Full information on bug fixes & other changes will be detailed at the time of release. ![]() Preview of what is to come in the next update! There's no confirmed release date yet, but we currently have it slated for early October.
